Join us on April 1, 2023
Seize the Day 5k and Family Fun Run at Pennington Biomedical Research Center.
In person registration includes:
1 mile fun run or 5K
Race T-shirt

After race activities
Virtual registration includes: a race t-shirt and finisher medal which will be mailed.
Additional Details:
You can complete the virtual race between Friday, March 31 at 6 p.m. to Saturday, April 1 at 11 a.m. at the place of your choosing. You must enter your results by 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 1 to be eligible to win. Details for submission will be provided to you before the race.
T-shirts are not guaranteed for those who register after March 1, 2023.

9:30 a.m. - Start of 5K Run/Walk
9:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. - Family Fun Activities to include music/food&drinks/awards

The team who raises the most money – The contest ends Friday, March 31, 2023 at 6 p.m.

The best team T-Shirt – T-Shirt pictures must be emailed to info@epilepsylouisiana.org by 6 p.m. on Friday, March 31, 2023. The winner is determined by the event committee.
The best team tent will be awarded to the team with the best decorated tent on the day of the race. The winner is determined by the event committee
Team awards include both in-person and virtual participants. Race participants must register on the team when they submit their race registration or they won’t be counted for the team. The team captain will receive the prize.


Team Information
Our teams are the best part of our race! They rally together to fundraise for EAL and raise awareness about epilepsy in Louisiana. We are excited to support our teams this year with our usual team competitions.
